Scope of Application:
This standard applies to AC Traction Solenoids (hereinafter referred to as “Solenoids”). These solenoids are designed for use in circuits with AC 50Hz/60Hz and rated voltages up to 380V. They are used for remote control of mechanical equipment, automation systems, and various operating mechanisms.
Structural Features:
The solenoid is a single-phase AC, rod-type open-frame design, suitable for both pulling and pushing applications. The coil does not include a reset mechanism after de-energization.
The solenoid consists of two main parts: the yoke and the armature. During installation, the yoke is fixed to a stationary bracket, while the armature is connected to a linkage rod. When the coil is energized, the armature is attracted, transmitting motion via the linkage rod to actuate the controlled mechanism.
